Meet Miki Talebi; Founder & CEO of Oome’ – a premium smoked tofu company.

With a background in academia and after having her second child, Miki took an extended maternity leave to re-evaluate her career path. It was during this time in 2020 that her father sustained a significant accident, which changed the course of her career path. Her father, a food broker by trade, loved using his smoker to create delicious meals to bring the family together. Smoked tofu, a delicious, nutritious protein was then created and evolved into a business. After her father’s passing, Miki then decided to fill this gap in the marketplace herself with a product her children loved. Be inspired today while Oome’ pays tribute to Miki’s Japanese identity on her mother’s side and honours the legacy of her late father while creating a brighter future for our planet and generations beyond us.
