We just finished our 3rd food drive of 2022 as part of our monthly Actions Of Compassion event now called the Compassion Kingdom. I want to give a shout to a few certain brands, individuals, and companies that helped with our most recent drive.

Here’s Kris and I getting the day started.

Some of you may already know her for being the 20th most followed person on TikTok with 47 million followers & 2.1 billion likes, just behind The Rock. Aside from her deep level of compassion, Kris has been able to take her gifted skills and build a 7.97 million following on YouTube as well, with some of her videos getting up to 20 million views.

Kris has also successfully built a 2.4 million following on Instagram. I really respect her business savvy knowing that one of the hardest things to accomplish on social platforms is to transition from one platform into another, while maintaining a prominent level of entertainment success. Kris not only possesses a comedic genius gift, among many other talents, but most true to her heart is being a strong advocate for mental health.

BIG MOUNTAIN FOODS

Led by Kimberly Chamberland and Jasmine Byrne, these wonderful women led business and their team were incredibly supportive in making over 300 fresh sandwiches and tofu hot dogs for those in need. Just recently they won Product of the Year (Gold) and Best Innovation for their soy free tofu. I can honestly say that everyone on the street absolutely loved their food.

Grounded People Apparel

Led by Founder Max Justus, is a fair-wage and sustainable vegan shoe company that reduces the harmful impact of global fashion on the environment. Max and the team were also in support of our compassion event in being kind enough to hand out over 50 pairs of shoes to those in need. Max has recently taken Grounded People public and is now trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange. His objective was to ensure that all workers are treated fairly and that all products are being ethically sourced in sharing talks with all his suppliers.

The compassionate team of Israel and Matt (Vancouver Cambie store location) were incredibly kind in donating all the bread and condiments to our sandwich drive. This was the 3rd time Save On Foods corporation has stepped up and donated to our sandwich drive for the local community.
